GRAPHIC DESIGNER - Contract


*This position is located in New York City. You must be local to apply.

We are currently seeking a contract freelance on-site graphic designer. For this position, we are looking for someone who shares our passion for all things fashion and lifestyle. We love to bring fashion and design trends right to your desk with our innovative and unique collections.  

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Strong illustration skills
  • Pattern design and strong color theory
  • Strong knowledge of current fashion & retail trends
  • Ability to create modern, fashion forward inspiration boards
  • EXPERT knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
  • Strong and confident idea generating skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate ideas both visually and verbally
  • A can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Professional level knowledge of all printing methods & techniques with a solid understanding of print production and design for print
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and priorities. Must complete projects under pressure in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Excellent organizational and follow through skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including copywriting and editing
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Research concepts, materials & trends 


EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Graphic Design
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in graphic design
  • Expert level in Mac based Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat Professional
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop
  • Possess a strong portfolio
  • Solid understanding of print production and design for print
  • Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

MERCHANDISE COORDINATOR - Full time

*This position is located in New York City. You must be local to apply.

We are currently seeking an entry-level, full time merchandise coordinator. For this position, we are looking for someone who thrives on spreadsheets and charts and is an expert planner and organizer. We will work with this person on the newest collections and maintain excellent work flow with our partners. 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Generate weekly selling reports and business analysis to track selling, identify key trends, maximize opportunities and minimize liabilities to achieve continued growth and profitability of the business.
  • Responsible for maintaining assortment sheets, pricing/conversion files, processing markdowns, reconciling on order, and sample management.
  • Track timely shipment with all suppliers with order receipts.
  • Work with customer service to ensure bulks are input and orders are shipped on a timely basis.
  • Recommend timely markdowns on goods and reorders on best sellers.
  • Share insight based on reviewing analysis in order to grow and impact business.
  • Partner with visual team to communicate monthly collections details, markdowns and promotions.
  • Responsible for execution and maintenance of merchandising guidelines and product knowledge information to wholesale partners.
  • Partner with team to run analysis and prepare selling hindsight in order to help identify opportunities in the new fashion trends and markets.
  • Attend and actively participate in market appointments.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Business/Fashion Merchandising/Communications
  • Solid understanding of merchandising and sourcing 
  • Professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
